THE US NAP (BEST BET) RUNS IN RACE 5 AT FINGER LAKES ON TUESDAY NIGHT!

Race 5 Finger Lakes 8.06 Zero Point Zero (11/10)

Promising filly who showed bright speed out the gate to lead against more experienced rivals; set good fractions and had them in trouble; kept on well and nicely on top at the finish; sure to improve and hard to oppose.

There was lots to like about the way ZERO POINT ZERO turned over odds-on favourite Avid Sucinori on debut over C&D last month. She was nicely on top at the finish and hit the line well. She should improve from that initial outing and should confirm the form with the second again tonight. Mission Cat has some decent form in the book and actually beat Avid Sucinori over the summer. She has finished runner-up herself the last twice and could make a race of it. The fav brings a lot of potential to the table though so I’m expecting her to have all angles covered. Tangerine Dream hacks up on penultimate start but couldn’t follow up last time and also has a bit to find to be winning this.

Race 1 Penn National 11.00 Disco Ebo (6/4)

Exciting filly who caught the eye on first two starts finishing runner-up on both occasions before improving fast to win impressively at Philadelphia last month; repelled all challengers and 10 lengths plus clear; should win again.

This looks a cracking opportunity for DISCO EBO to win again. She dotted up last time and this is easier if anything. She looks to have a bright future and I’ll be surprised if there is anything good enough in here to cope with her gears. What’s Cookin won nicely on second start at a better level than this but was a bit disappointing last time. If she bounces back she could be the one to give the favourite most to think about in the closing stages. Advocate Harbor has let supporters down the last twice so has a bit to find but her win on second start was eye-catching. Halligirl improved to make the breakthrough last time but this is tougher and she is going to need to take a big step forward to follow up.
