NAP – Best selection of the evening

THE US NAP (BEST BET) RUNS IN RACE 7 AT ZIA PARK ON MONDAY NIGHT!

Race 7 Zia Park 9.42 Brazilian Summer (6/4)

Tough sort who has won 2 of his last 3 and impressed again showing a good attitude under pressure to prevail over track and trip last month; hard to oppose under likely aggressive tactics again; most likely winner.

This might not take a great deal of winning so that makes BRAZILIAN SUMMER a standout for me. This 5yo has won 2 of his last 3 now and is clearly at the top of his game. This isn’t any tougher and under positive tactics he should take a bit of pegging back. There isn’t much pace on here so he might get a solo out in front. If he does then that makes his claims even stronger as I don’t see anything in here good enough to peg him back. Leatherneck was a good second over C&D last time but that sort of run wouldn’t be good enough to beat the selection so he definitely needs to find more. Bayern To Be Wild beat Flickering Light on penultimate start but let supporters down badly last time.

Race 8 Mahoning Valley 9.02 Sister’s Creed (13/8)

Likeable mare who has won 3 of her last 5 and faced a lot of pace pressure when a close third last time so better than that; should get to the lead and might always be fending them off here; worth keeping on side.

I know Double D’s Revenge got the better of SISTER’S CREED when the pair last met but I think plenty went against the selection on that occasion and with a better trip here she should have too much tonight. The former has had 9 runs since and failed to get her head back in front so I think she’ll struggle to pick up the fav tonight. Bar them two Fortunate Gina deserves a mention as she hasn’t been running too badly and I don’t think she’ll be far away. Double D’s Revenge was second last time but beaten over 8 lengths so needs more on that run to trouble the selection here. Sheza Fine Justice is quite a big price and might be the value to hit the frame but needs to better that latest effort.
