THE NAP (BEST BET) NEEDS A WINNER AND RUNS AT FAKENHAM ON TUESDAY!
Fakenham 12.40 Rebel Leader (7/4)
Likeable type who has taken his form up a notch since going chasing; two really encouraging runs in defeat prior to opening his account at Perth and then following up convincingly at Stratford; up 5lb but more to come yet.
The NAP could do with a winner so fingers crossed REBEL LEADER can bring up the hat-trick at Fakenham on Tuesday. He has looked an improved horse since going chasing running two eye-catching races at Uttoxeter and Market Rasen before getting off the mark in this sphere at Perth and then backing that up off a 4lb rise at Stratford. He is up another 5lb but that looks fair and he looks well placed to make it 3 in a row. Bill And Barn impressed winning at Plumpton but that didn’t look a strong contest and the second Silver Nickel has been thrashed since so the form has taken a knock. Dubai Guest might pose a bigger threat as his yard are flying and he shaped a bit better at Worcester.

Ayr 2.50 Animore (2/1)
Good looking sort who ran out an impressive winner at Hexham last month, travelling strongly, jumping well and making all; narrowly denied over C&D last time; any rain will help and hard to oppose nudged up just 1lb here.
I think ANIMORE probably did quite well to go as close as she did at Ayr given she lacked fluency in her jumping. She was only grabbed late by the rallying Dorking Boy and they pulled clear from Bollingerandkrug who also showed promise. If she returns to the form that saw her bolt up at Hexham before that she will be extremely hard to beat here. She is only up 1lb so is definitely handicapped to have a big say and looks the most likely winner to me. African Dance was disappointing when last seen at Plumpton but should have a future in this discipline. If he takes to chasing he will be the danger with his yard going great guns. Better Getalong is likely to be thereabouts but is on a long losing run.
