THE NAP (BEST BET) IS DUE A WINNER AND RUNS OVER JUMPS AT WARWICK!
Warwick 1.40 Edwardstone (1/1)
Smart hurdler who looked primed to go close back over fences on return over C&D at the start of the month before being brought down; strong pace looks assured which should help him; everything points towards a big run.
It was a shame to see EDWARDSTONE brought down on his return as he looked to be travelling strongly at the time. Given he was the best of these over hurdles and this is likely to be set-up for him with a strong pace assured he should have a great chance to record a first win over fences. He is still lightly raced for his age so connections could be in for a profitable season. Elixir De Nutz is a good looking type who is clearly talented but he can’t be the easiest to train given we’ve only seen him once in the last couple of years. If fully revved up he could go well and with the yard having made a good start he could be the danger. Stepney Causeway makes his chase debut but may end up going too hard.

Ffos Las 1.25 Gris Gris Top (15/8)
Made a bright start beaten just over a length in a bumper in Ireland on debut under Rules and plenty of promise again on hurdles debut for this yard over C&D last month; second and fourth won since so form franked; sure to go close.
This looks a great chance for GRIS GRIS TOP to open his account over hurdles. I thought he shaped with plenty of promise on debut for Michael Scudamore over C&D last month and if he builds on that he will take plenty of stopping here. The form of that last run has worked out really well producing a couple of useful winners since. Glancing Glory is related to some useful types so might be the one to put up the most resistance but she is likely to come on for the experience. Moonlight Flit showed potential at Warwick and is also worth a second look given that form is pretty solid. Transfer Friendly hasn’t been disgraced and is probably best of the rest but this could be quite a good race.

The Daily Double consists of both the NAP and NB and is a great way of covering our two best bets of the day to maximise profit. They run at Ffos Las and Warwick on Wednesday afternoon.
