THE US NAP (BEST BET) RUNS IN RACE 8 AT AQUEDUCT ON SATURDAY NIGHT!

Race 8 Aqueduct 8.14 Speaker’s Corner (4/5)

Progressive colt who has won 3 of his last 4 and ran out a very impressive winner at Belmont last month, drawing clear and geared down late; this tougher but potential to get better again so hard to oppose once more.

I know SPEAKER’S CORNER is quite a short price so I’d advise backing the double if you want a bit more value but he has to be the US NAP tonight. He won head in chest in a good race at Belmont last month, eased down towards the line. He is improving all the time and with further progress to come he can take this step back up in grade in his stride. He is versatile as regards to pace and it wouldn’t be a massive surprise if he went forward and tried to go pillar to post. Miles D has potential and showed a good attitude to win by a head last time. This is tougher though so he’ll need more to land a blow. Manor House has won 2 from 3 but needs much more in this company. Fav should be winning this.

Race 9 Churchill Downs 9.57 Tejano Twist (5/4)

Likeable type who is getting better with experience; really stretched away impressively at Keeneland last time and hard to oppose if in the same form here despite this being tougher; one to keep firmly on side.

Maxfield was so tough last night so hopefully we can fire in another winning US NB tonight. We head to Churchill Downs and TEJANO TWIST is going to take a lot of beating if in the same form as when he routed a good field at Keeneland last month. He took over still going well and powered clear late. This is a better race so he should get an even stronger pace to run at and I think he’ll be too strong for them late. Chattalot still has potential despite being well held last time and if he bounces back he could be the main danger. Cool Papa G was held by the selection last time so has enough to prove off the back of that even though he is still a colt and can improve again.
