THE US NAP (BEST BET) WON AGAIN LAST NIGHT AND IS ON A HAT-TRICK NOW!

Race 7 Zia Park 9.42 Sigalert (7/4)

Improving sort who was gaining with every yard when denied just half a length over 6f here last month; that looked quite a good race and he should sharpen up from that so hard to beat if building on that tonight.

Great night Stateside last night with the Mega Acca landing! The US NAP is now chasing a HAT-TRICK tonight and we head to Zia Park where SIGALERT looks a good bet to go one better. He was a big eye-catcher on return and with this extra half a furlong likely to be right up his street he will take a lot of stopping tonight. He is improving both physically and mentally and won’t get many better opportunity to return to the winners enclosure. Grey Storm looks the danger but he was held a place behind the selection last time and I see no obvious reason why he’ll be able to reverse that form tonight. Big Mac Daddy was quite an impressive winner when last seen in the summer but lacks a recent run here.

Race 8 Penn National 2.10 Thurman Merman (2/1)

Likeable type who blew rivals away over slightly shorter here last time; has some of the best form on offer and if he turns up in the same form tonight he should have too much for these rivals; most likely winner.

Given THURMAN MERMAN won by over 6 lengths at this level when last seen earlier in the month I think he’ll take a lot of beating again tonight. He finished ahead of True Wisdom when second on penultimate start and while he does need to reverse form with Start Cashin he comes here at the top of his game now and will likely look to go post to wire again. Wonder In drops down in grade and looks the danger but I think the selection will lead so he might always be playing second fiddle. Coast To Coast won well last time but this looks more competitive and he has a bit to find with Wonder In when they clashed back in the summer. Hard to see much else springing an upset in here.
