NAP – Best selection of the evening

Huntingdon 1.52 Allmankind (6/5)

Progressive chaser who came on for his reappearance third at Chepstow to win convincingly at this level at Aintree last time; form strongly franked since; relentless nature should burn these off if he avoids errors.

I’ve got to be with ALLMANKIND here as that win at Aintree last time couldn’t have worked out any better. The second Itchy Feet chased home Bravemansgame at Haydock and the third Midnight Shadow won the Paddy Power Gold Cup last month. Even the fourth Fanion D’Estruval bolted up at Newbury so wherever you look it has been well advertised. He will go hard off the front under Harry Skelton and they might not see which way he went. Master Tommytucker bumped into a rejuvenated Lostintranslation when a good second at Ascot and has to be respected. First Flow makes his reappearance so has to be considered but the main danger might be Haldon Gold Cup winner Eldorado Allen.

NAP

Huntingdon 1.52 Allmankind (6/5)

Punchestown 1.25 Choice Of Words (6/4)

Promising mare who looked good winning a bumper here before chasing home the exciting Grangee; looked the part winning by 7 and a half lengths on hurdles debut at Galway; more to come so hard to oppose.

There was lots to like about the way CHOICE OF WORDS won on debut over hurdles at Galway. She made all the running and never looked like getting caught. I know she might not have beaten a great deal but she is only going to improve from that and given her bumper form reads well too she is an exciting prospect for the season ahead. The step up in trip should suit given how well she hit the line the last day and I’ll be surprised if she’s beaten here. We don’t usually put up tips early for Sunday so the 6/4 might be worth snapping up as I can see her going off a lot shorter. Party Central is the danger but she was turned over at short odds at Down Royal and has enough to prove following that.
