NAP – Best selection of the evening
THE US NAP (BEST BET) RUNS IN RACE 2 AT DELTA DOWNS ON FRIDAY EVENING!
Race 2 Delta Downs 7.23 My Pal Mattie (11/10)
Progressive sort who brought up the hat-trick over track and trip last month, showing a great attitude under pressure to get back to the front and hit the line strong; scope to improve again and should be too good for these.
The improving MY PAL MATTIE gets a confident vote to make it 4 straight at Delta Downs on Friday night. He is clearly a horse firmly on the upgrade and I loved the way he went again when challenged last time. A similar performance this evening should be good enough to see these off. The danger is probably Luke’s Cajun Star but he is a 9yo now and is exposed in comparison to the selection. He will need to better that last run as well as while he wasn’t beaten far he didn’t exactly hit the line with any conviction. All Our Time is chasing a hat-trick and has only had 4 starts so might be involved at the business end as well but this does look tougher so he will need to progress again you’d imagine.

THE US NEXT BEST (SECOND BEST BET) RUNS IN RACE 7 AT AQUEDUCT ON FRIDAY NIGHT!
Race 7 Aqueduct 8.50 Tweaqued (15/8)
Promising filly who created a big impression winning over C&D on debut; started a touch slow and took a bump but quickly recovered and impressive with how she moved through the race before asserting in good style.
I thought there was lots to like about the way TWEAQUED won on debut and if she progresses from that as expected she has a great chance of making it a perfect 2-2 here. She is clearly very promising and while this looks a good race on paper she can definitely take the beating. She will be hoping for a cleaner break and if she gets on the speed it may well be race over. Lady Milagro went down just a nose to Rooski last time so either of them could emerge as the danger. The latter is now chasing a hat-trick and was very impressive on penultimate start. This is definitely tougher though so she’ll need to find further improvement to upset this jolly who looks set for bigger and better things in time.
Evening Double
The Evening Double consists of both the NAP & NB and is a great way of covering our two best bets of the night to maximise profit. They run at Delta Downs and Aqueduct on Friday.
