OUR US NAP (BEST BET) RUNS IN RACE 6 AT PENN NATIONAL ON TUESDAY NIGHT!

Race 6 Penn National 1.16 Indian Counselor (13/8)

Tough sort who was back to his best winning well over 6f at Philadelphia back in November; bettered that form again up to this trip last time finding plenty; up in grade again but already proven at a better level than this.

The thriving INDIAN COUNSELOR can bring up the hat-trick at Penn National in the early hours of Wednesday morning. He is a tough and honest sort who was seen to good effect over this trip last time and while this is tougher again he has form at a much higher level than this so given the heart he comes here in it’s going to take a good one to peg him back and I don’t see much in this field running well enough to stop him. Mr Hoover could be the danger having finished runner-up over a mile here last month. That is quite solid form and he is fairly unexposed so I fully expect him to finish second. Galilee scored over 6f here last month but has a bit to prove back up in trip. Could be best of the rest.

Race 6 Mahoning Valley 8.04 O’Haire (15/8)

Useful type who has shown a great attitude in recent starts finishing strongly to get up by a neck over track and trip back in December; followed up by the same margin over a mile here last month; hat-trick looks on the cards now.

We head to Mahoning Valley on Tuesday night for the US NB which is chasing a FOUR-TIMER tonight. I like the hat-trick seeking O’HAIRE in Race 6 on the card. He has stayed on strongly to get up late the last twice and with more to come can take this out. Given his style he will need usual luck in-running but if he gets the gaps and a nice target to aim at he should really be taking this out. Bob’s Calling is probably the danger as the betting is suggesting but he can often have too much to do so needs to get going before the race is over this time around. Parade Grand did it well over a mile here last time and that form also brings him into it but this is definitely a bit tougher so he’ll need more.
