Race 9 Gulfstream Park 9.42 Sunset Provision (best price 4/5)
Promising colt who showed something to work on when third over this trip on a synthetic surface last month; sure to be sharper for that experience and will enjoy the switch to turf; comfortably the most likely winner.
We head to Gulfstream Park for our best bet Stateside on Wednesday night and the improving SUNSET PROVISION can come out on top. He showed more than enough to win a race like this when third on debut and should be the answer. Those with experience don’t exactly set a high standard so I’m struggling to see him beaten with natural improvement. I think he’ll be better getting a target to aim at but if he has come on for that initial outing they might not be able to keep tabs on him early so he could end up going off the front. Uranium would be the danger if back to the form where he went down just a neck on penultimate start.

Race 6 Turf Paradise 10.02 Bella’s Back (best price 13/8)
Useful mare who has won 6 of her last 8 and found plenty off the bridle to win by 5 lengths at the line over the extended 5f here back in December; hard to oppose on that form and should have too many gears again.
Top Hat High Jinks had no answers for BELLA’S BACK here last time and if she runs to that sort of level again I think she’ll run these into the ground. She has a really good strike rate and certainly knows where the winning line is. She will push forward and if she doesn’t get too much pressure early she might always be dictating. The danger could be the hat-trick seeking Laugharoo who impressed last time but this does represent a step up on that. Supah Sista has been fairly consistent and holds Old Toy when the pair met back in December and might be best of the rest.
