NAP – Best selection of the evening
Sandown 4.05 Dr Kananga (9/4)
Took his form up a notch slamming rivals by 12 lengths at Chepstow last time with the field well strung out in behind; handicapper hasn’t missed him with a 12lb hike but can improve again and should be hard to beat.
I loved the way DR KANANGA won at Chepstow last time making all the running and galloping rivals into submission. He has been put up 12lb as a result but that’s hardly a surprise and with deep ground in his favour again he can follow up. He looks to have stamina in abundance so when the going gets tough out there he should be staying on strongly. Poppa Poutine ran his best race to date over fences when denied just a short head at Wincanton and if he can build on that he is most likely to emerge as the danger. Laskalin also has to enter the argument with Venetia Williams going so well but he was beaten a fair way at Lingfield last time and will need to step up on that to figure.

Chelmsford 8.30 Enfranchise (9/4)
Progressive filly who clocked a career best impressing over this trip at Lingfield last month, always finding enough and doing it readily close home; 3lb rise lenient and with more to come she can follow up here.
I was really impressed with ENFRANCHISE over this distance at Lingfield last month and given this doesn’t look much tougher a 3lb rise shouldn’t be enough to anchor her. She looked strong at the finish and remains unexposed over this trip. Andrew Breslin is good value for his 5lb claim and he has developed a nice partnership with the filly now having rode her to 2 of her 3 wins to date. They should go an end-to-end gallop here with Cerulean and Royal Event potentially pushing forward and that will help her a lot. Coase travelled strongly before winning well over C&D last week but this looks more competitive so he’ll have more on his plate if he is to follow up tonight.
