Tuesday’s Best Bets
NAP LANDED YESTERDAY! Let’s see if we can follow up on Tuesday as we head to Newcastle. Also racing from Catterick and Leicester. Daily Double pays 15/1!
Scroll down to find our most confident selections (NAP & NB) PLUS race-by-race picks for every race across all THREE meetings again.
NAP – Best selection of the evening
Newcastle 6.30 Millionaire Waltz (5/2)
Won 3 times over 7f at this track last year and back to form staying on well when denied just a neck last month; goes off the same mark here and should have more to come up to a mile for the first time; worth chancing.
The NAP was back in the winners enclosure yesterday and hopefully we can make it back-to-back at Newcastle on Tuesday. MILLIONAIRE WALTZ likes it here winning 3 times over 7f last year and with the step up to a mile potentially unlocking further improvement he should take a bit of beating under Midge Mullen. He is a bit uneasy in the betting at the time of writing but that isn’t putting me off whatsoever. War Defender should go forward and while he could be dangerous off the front I think that will help the selection to get a toe in before hopefully hitting the line best. Abnaa has won over track and trip so has to be respected but he looked suited by how it panned out latest and could only finish third.
NB – Second best selection of the day
THE NEXT BEST (SECOND BEST BET) RUNS AT CATTERICK ON TUESDAY AFTERNOON!
Catterick 3.15 Chanting Hill (4/1)
Likeable mare who looks handicapped to strike and finds a good opportunity to get her head back in front following a close second last month; can see her jumping her way into the lead and hopefully always doing enough.
I think this looks a good chance for CHANTING HILL to get her head back in front. She is still off her last winning mark and things just didn’t pan out favourably last time but she was only beaten narrowly. If she jumps well she should travel into it strongly and hopefully she is always finding enough to get to the line in front under Danny McMenamin. Brother Pat has been the one for money and wasn’t disgraced when third in the Lincolnshire National but that forms has taken a few knocks since and he usually needs his first run back after a break. Frisco Bay is also showing up fairly prominently in the betting but I expected better last time and I think that also leaves him vulnerable.
