Race 6 Turf Paradise 10.26 Street Flyer (6/4)

Likeable mare who deserved to get her head in front winning convincingly over 5f here last month, sticking on gamely at the finish; hard to beat if she is in the same form as this no tougher; will go forward and looks to dictate.

Another tough night Stateside but I do like the chances of STREET FLYER at Turf Paradise. This mare won convincingly over a similar trip here last month and a repeat of that would see her get these in trouble. She has speed to burn so should push forward and will look to string them out. My Funny Gal is likely to figure at some point but she’ll definitely need to bring her best form to upset the favourite. She is a 10yo now too so it’s hard to say how much more is to come if anything. C C The Bartender won well on penultimate start before being held last time. If she can bounce back she will run well but still has enough to find against the favourite. Tothemoonandback is also capable of getting involved.

Race 3 Fair Grounds 8.05 Madame Jane (7/4)

Progressive filly who pulled away in the style of a promising horse winning over 5f at Delta Downs back in January; scope to improve again and looks to have found a good opportunity to follow up here; keep firmly on side.

I really like the chances of MADAME JANE here. This filly has always looked fairly promising and she really put it to bed in good style last time. With more to come she can improve again and take this out. She will go forward and hopefully lead these a merry dance. The danger is likely Tensas Virginia who is also unexposed after just 3 starts. She won well last time so has to be feared on that. I’m actually pretty confident the pair will battle this out so if you wanted some insurance you could back them in a reverse forecast. Of the rest Mrs. Judy is quite a big price but she does need to improve to land a blow at the business end. Steph’s Spirit drops in grade but has enough to prove right now.
