NAP – Best selection of the evening
OUR US NAP (BEST BET) RUNS IN RACE 7 AT GULFSTREAM PARK ON WEDNESDAY!
Race 7 Gulfstream Park 9.09 Sayyaaf (5/6)
Talented sort who has won 4 of his last 5 starts now and impressed again last time always holding on with a bit in hand; back on turf now but should have too many gears for this field and taken to land the hat-trick here.
I’m keen to stick with the thriving SAYYAAF at Gulfstream on Wednesday night. This horse is in red-hot form with 4 wins from his last 5 and given this is no tougher I think he’ll have too much for these rivals. He will push forward and set strong fractions and I’m not sure anything is going well enough to live with him. The danger is probably the unexposed Zanno who impressed on penultimate start. He was a bit disappointing last time but back on turf should go well and I expect him to finish second. Partner’s Hope looks held by the favourite on that last run but could easily fare best of the rest. Breakthrough is eased in grade and is another one who deserves a second look at least.

Race 6 Fair Grounds 9.35 Savvy Shipman (13/8)
Likeable mare who was back to her best to win gamely over C&D last month; this no tougher so should be hard to oppose if turning up in similar form tonight; likes to close up late so will want a good pace to aim at.
I think there’s enough pace on here to make SAVVY SHIPMAN a strong play. She picked up strongly at the finish to run them down last time and hopefully a similar scenario pans out this evening. Apriority Lady has won 2 of her last 3 and will go hard off the front. G’s Deadline was third to the selection last time but it wouldn’t surprise me if she turned out to be the biggest danger. She has 3 and a quarter lengths to make up though. Air Guitar Star also ties in on that form having finished fourth in that race but has ground to make up with the latter and the favourite so definitely needs more and isn’t getting any younger. Mi Lia is unexposed but this is quite a tough contest so she’ll need to improve a fair bit.
Evening Double
The Daily Double consists of both the NAP & NB and is a great way of covering our two best bets of the night to maximise profit. They run at Gulfstream Park and Fair Grounds on Wednesday night.
