NAP – Best selection of the evening

Naas 4.05 Jeremys Flame (1/1)

Useful mare who deserved to get her head in front over fences winning convincingly over C&D back in January; denied just half a length next time but back on track latest, staying on well; hard to oppose on recent form.

The NAP bolted up yesterday and I’m hoping for more of the same on Sunday. JEREMYS FLAME arrives here in great form and I think she is going to take all the beating. She has won 2 of her last 3 now and this C&D suits her well. She was five lengths too good for them at Thurles last month and if she is in similar form this afternoon she will take a bit of stopping late. Lifetime Ambition was highly tried when last seen and will find this easier so is expected to emerge as the main danger to the favourite. Delvino was fourth to Capodanno on debut for this yard and then ran a good second at Down Royal last time so if she builds on that she should also be thereabouts but needs to find much more to win.

NAP

Naas 4.05 Jeremys Flame (1/1)

Warwick 1.35 Pilsdon Pen (13/8)

Progressing well over hurdles making it 2 from 3 at Huntingdon last month, crossing the line with a bit to spare; 9lb rise demands more but looks one to keep on side and this looks another decent opportunity.

We head to Warwick on Sunday for our second best bet of the day and PILSDON PEN can strike again while the iron is hot. He really quickened away impressively at Huntingdon and with further progress a distinct possibility I think he’ll come out on top again here despite the rise. Rock On Tommy is the only other horse arriving here in winning form so I’d have to put him forward as the danger. That form has been boosted too so he is entitled to go well but I just think the selection will be staying on the stronger. Stanley Pincombe was rather laboured at Lingfield but shouldn’t be written off yet and might show up a bit better here. The rest all look to have enough to prove.
