NAP – Best selection of the evening
Huntingdon 2.05 Out The Glen (5/4)
Lightly raced for his age and especially over fences for this yard winning on debut at Leicester before going in again at the same venue last time with the field well strung out; 4lb rise lenient and can come out on top again.
The NAP was back in the winners enclosure yesterday and hopefully we can add another winner on Thursday as we head to Huntingdon. OUT THE GLEN made all with plenty to spare at Leicester last time and with more to come he can defy a 4lb rise in the weights. He will be ridden positively again under 5lb claimer Lewis Stones and I think he’ll take a fair bit of catching. Thundersockssundae should still have better to come in this sphere but he’ll certainly have to step forward on what we’ve seen so far. Candy Lou doesn’t look to have taken to fences and as weak as this is she still needs to show something before you could have any confidence. Bolt N Brown also has enough to prove pulling up latest.
NB – Second best selection of the day
THE NEXT BEST (SECOND BEST BET) ALSO RUNS AT HUNTINGDON ON THURSDAY!
Huntingdon 3.10 No Risk Des Flos (7/2)
Improving with experience and showed a good attitude to prevail at Wetherby last month, always doing just enough; 3lb rise unlikely to hurt and with a good pace to aim at here he should be finishing best of all under Aidan Coleman.
With potential for Ajero and Kannapolis to take each other on early this could set up perfectly for the hat-trick seeking NO RISK DES FLOS. This horse continues to learn his trade and did well to hold on last time. Back down to 2 miles with a good clip ensured he should pick them up close home. Ajero also arrives in winning form having won at Taunton last time. Kannapolis is likely to pressure him early though and that might help soften him up. I still think he might be the biggest danger to the selection. Fransham is the rank outsider of the four but he isn’t a backnumber. He did pull up latest though and has a bit to prove back over hurdles now.
