Exciting filly who made it a perfect 3-3 up to this level for the first time over a mile here last month; settled well back but made rapid headway outside and flew home; scope to improve again and should be too good.

Some really good racing in America on Saturday night and one of the horses I’m looking forward to seeing is the unbeaten KATHLEEN O. at Gulfstream. She won head in chest last time at this level despite being given a fair bit to do and with further improvement on the cards she can follow up here. Hopefully they go a good gallop as the faster they go the better for her as she will be rattling home. The main danger looks to be Goddess Of Fire who again ran well when beaten just half a length last time. That is solid form so she should give the favourite most to think about. Catiche impressed last time but this is definitely tougher back on dirt. Amani’s Image likely best of the rest.

Race 12 Oaklawn Park 12.35 Secret Oath (11/10)

Progressive filly who has taken her form up a notch bringing up the hat-trick in the Honeybee here back in February; won 4 of her last 5 now and hard to oppose on what she has been doing recently; most likely winner.

Another horse I can’t wait to see tonight is SECRET OATH in the Arkansas Derby. She has looked an exciting filly in recent starts and the way she took them apart last time was very impressive. With more to come after just the 6 starts she can prove a cut above the opposition again despite stepping up to the top level for the first time. Doppelganger has to be feared but he will likely need to improve to lay a glove on this favourite. We The People is 2-2 and is the unknown quantity in the race but this is a big step up on what he has been facing so far. Cyberknife is a decent yardstick but again while I think he has a bright future this is a very tough ask as the selection looks very exciting.
