Exciting filly who came with a strong late kick to bring up a hat-trick of wins at the top level here back in October; going from strength-to-strength and with further improvement likely can make a winning return.

Some good racing in America on Saturday night as you’d expect and I can’t wait to see SHANTISARA out again. This filly looked to possess plenty of ability winning the QEII Cup by 5 lengths here when last seen back in October. She remains open to further improvement and is hard to oppose tonight. She will likely stalk them through before looking to utilise her potent turn of foot. Regal Glory is a tough mare and she is on a hat-trick so has to be feared. She is more exposed than the selection though and will need to be at her best to have any sort of a chance. Waliyak was a decent mare on these shores and shaped well on debut at Woodbine. Could also get involved but vulnerable late?

Race 7 Gulfstream 9.19 You’re Killin Me (2/1)

Tough sort who landed back-to-back wins before finishing a creditable second last time; hard to beat if back to his best as this looks very winnable; should get a good pace to run down as well which will help.

With 4 wins from his last 7 starts YOU’RE KILLIN ME looks to have found another good opportunity to strike. He is a tough yardstick and while he wasn’t at his best last time his two wins before that were convincing and if back to that level should have too much for this field. High Yield Kitten is the pace angle but he shouldn’t be entirely overlooked. He bolted up on penultimate start and only went down a length. It wouldn’t massively surprise me if he finished second with the selection running him down in the closing stages. Gangly hasn’t been running badly so might not be far away but will need more to live with this favourite. Hero Tiger looks held on recent form so needs to find more.
