Saturday’s American Horse Racing Tips
Sky Sports Racing have live coverage of US Racing tonight and we have covered FOUR meetings and picked out our best bets.
TONS OF GRADED ACTION STATESIDE TONIGHT! Lots to look forward to in America with racing from Tampa, Woodbine, Gulfstream and Santa Anita. Daily Double pays 4/1!
NAP – Best selection of the evening
Race 6 Santa Anita 11.33 Express Train (4/5)
Progressive sort who showed a great attitude to bring up the hat-trick at the top level here last month; hard to oppose in current form and under a stalking ride he should take all the beating as he pounces late on.
This is a good race with some nice types lining up but none more so than EXPRESS TRAIN who is looking to make it four straight. He won a Grade 1 last time and drops back down in grade here so should have that class edge on his rivals. He knuckled down well last time and if reproducing that sort of form should have too much for these rivals. Shaaz is unexposed after just the 3 runs winning 2 of them so looks the main danger if improving again but make no mistake this is a step up. Stilleto Boy was third behind the selection last time so has ground to make up. Spielberg also ties in with that form so looks held. Holden The Lute won last time but this is a great deal tougher.
NB – Second best selection of the day
Race 10 Gulfstream Park 10.53 King Cab (7/4)
Improving sort who has won 2 of his last 3 and clocked a career best at Tampa last month winning head in chest; open to further improvement after just 5 starts and if bringing his best form here will take the beating.
We head to Gulfstream Park on Saturday for our second best bet and KING CAB looks set to make it 3 wins from his last 4 starts. He impressed last time and to think that was just his fifth start there should be a fair bit more to come yet. Golden Juan will push hard from the gate and that should give him a lovely toe in. Well Defined was only beaten narrowly when last seen and some of his form stacks up so he looks one of the lively dangers. Rough Entry won 5 in a row last campaign but was out of sorts here last time and has a bit to prove off the back of that. If he can bounce back then he would have a say in the outcome here but hard to warm to in current form. Hard to fancy much else in here.
The Daily Double consists of both the NAP & NB and is a great way of covering our two best bets of the night to maximise profit.
