Chester 3.10 Albaflora (2/1)
Smart mare who proved she can go particularly well fresh winning by 7 lengths over this trip in soft ground at Ascot last year; chased home Snowfall in the Yorkshire Oaks before missing narrowly on final start; hard to oppose.
This looks all about ALBAFLORA to me and given how well she won fresh last year I think she is going to take all the beating. She got within a short head of winning a Group 1 and clearly sets the standard here. She is officially rated 3lb clear of Hamish and with the mares allowance has plenty in her favour. She will likely be ridden quietly again so hopefully the likes of Thunderous, Mandoob and even Hamish to an extent go forward and make this a good gallop. The market looks to have it right and Believe In Love can emerge as the main danger. She also got within a short head of a Group 1 in France and this is easier bar the favourite. Hamish best of the rest but might do too much early on.

Huntingdon 4.30 Thundersockssundae (2/1)
Lightly raced for his age and confirmed the promise of that half-length second to win impressively over C&D 18 days ago; 9lb rise but more to come over fences and very much the one to beat again with Paddy Brennan up.
This will be tougher given the rise in the weights but THUNDERSOCKSSUNDAE is very much unexposed over fences and over this trip and I think he can follow up. He brushed rivals aside by 8 and a half lengths and the front 3 came some 36 lengths clear from the rest so the form looks solid. He will likely be ridden prominently again and should be hard to peg back. Le Grand Lion got off the mark over hurdles on Boxing Day and did too much too soon when last seen. He looks the danger now sent chasing but might come on for the experience. Tea For Free won his sole start in points so is of some interesting now over fences but still has enough to find even if taking to it.
