NAP – Best selection of the evening

Plumpton 4.30 Kolisi (5/4)

Progressive form since undergoing wind surgery bringing up the hat-trick impressively at Exeter last month; up another 7lb but could easily still be ahead of the assessor and this looks another good opportunity.

I thought KOLISI would be odds-on for the four-timer and looking at the field he is against I really think he should be. He has improved plenty since a wind op and found more than enough off the bridle to win again at Exeter last month. A further 7lb rise demands more but he is still improving and should have too much for these. Sami Bear opened his account here last time and looks the danger up 6lb. Sambezi was back on track when third at Huntingdon but he has to prove he can back that up now. He is the likely pace angle too so might end up setting it up for the favourite. Wells Glory deserves a mention too given how lightly raced he is but this looks tough enough right now.

NAP

Plumpton 4.30 Kolisi (5/4)

Leopardstown 4.35 Stone Age (2/1)

Promising colt who took a step forward to open his account on return at Navan and open to further improvement so should prove hard to beat here; yard going great guns too which is another big plus.

This should throw up plenty of future winners but the most promising of them could easily be STONE AGE for Aidan O’Brien. He took a sizeable step forward to win on return and is open to plenty of improvement. The yard are going great guns and he looks the play at 2/1. French Claim has won 2 from 3 and stayed on strongly to win at Cork on return. This is obviously tougher but he could easily be the danger. Duke De Sessa is another one that catches the eye but he’ll need to improve to cope with the favourite you’d imagine. Atomic Jones is the only horse unbeaten in the line-up but this is a big ask to win first-up and he should come on a fair bit for the run but another with potential.
