Improving filly who went down just a length over a mile here last month and with further progress likely she looks to have found a great opportunity to get her head in front; worth keeping firmly on side against this field.
Great night last night with the double landing so easily! Hopefully we can back that up this evening as we head to Gulfstream Park. THEREARENORULES has improved with every run and she looks primed to make the breakthrough now. She brings plenty of potential to the table and should be too classy for these. Hopefully she gets a nice toe in but at the same time it wouldn’t surprise me if she went forward as she seemed to benefit from a more prominent ride last time. The danger looks to be Perfectible Lady who closed up from well off the pace to finish second here last time and any further improvement on that would see her keep the favourite honest at least. Let Freedom Rein best of the rest.

Race 5 Belmont Park 8.12 Bold Victory (11/8)
Likeable type who has knocked on the door the last twice and this looks easier if anything so very good opportunity to finally make the breakthrough; this lacks strength in depth so won’t get many better chances to win.
I’m expecting BOLD VICTORY to prove too strong at Belmont Park tonight. He ran well on reappearance and with usual improvement from that he should be tough to beat. Floki’s Flight showed promise when second on debut and while this is a fair bit tougher if he improves he might be the one to chase the favourite home. Lord Gatling left previous form well behind when beaten a length at Aqueduct last time and if he can step forward again he should be involved for a place here. Both Kid Cash and North Pole have been heavily beaten recently and come here with enough to prove. Desert Lion weakened quite rapidly last time and is another one who looks up against it.
