Promising colt who made a taking start powering clear to win on debut and returned with a big run denied just a nose at Aqueduct last month; only going to improve again and looks well placed to make it 2 from 3.
The run of US NAP winners came to an end last night sadly with a pretty dismal display from our best bet so hopefully we can get back on track tonight. We head to Belmont Park where KEY POINT can make it 2 wins from just 3 starts. He was impressive on debut and only went down a nose on reappearance. He knuckled down well for pressure and the winner Masked Marauder looks a nice horse so the form is worth following. He will definitely improve from that given it was his first start for 232 days and it’s no surprise to see him a warm order for this. Montebello showed promise as a 2yo and was only beaten a length when last seen. If he is ready to go on return he might be the biggest danger.

Race 7 Woodbine 9.24 Nice Company (1/1)
Likeable filly who certainly deserved to get her head in front last time kicking clear in good style; open to further progress now and this no tougher so should have every chance of following up; worth chancing.
The US NB drifted to 3/1 last night but still got the job done thankfully. We are now on a HAT-TRICK and we head to Woodbine on Thursday night. I’m sticking with NICE COMPANY to follow up as while it took her a fair bit of time to get her head in front she certainly deserved to and now the penny has dropped I think she can go on to better things. This is obviously a lowly grade so she isn’t pulling down any trees but she was convincing last time and a repeat of that would likely see her salute the judge once more. Shishka has a similar profile but is slightly more exposed. She looked to need the run on return and if she comes on from that she might be the one to chase her home late on.
