Shaped with plenty of encouragement back from an absence when fourth at Nottingham last time, looking like he’d come on for the run; definitely capable off this mark and should be a danger to all in here.
Danny Tudhope is expected to send RICH DREAM into the lead early here and if he does they might not see which way he goes. He clearly hasn’t been the easiest to train but he definitely shaped with promise when fourth at Nottingham last time and if that has blown away the cobwebs he could be difficult to beat here. I’ll be very surprised if he isn’t better than a mark of 75 and even at the time of writing the market is already speaking positively. The danger looks to be How Hard Can It Be who won at Kempton before finishing a creditable third at the same venue last time. She should have more to come and freshened up is feared most. Liberated Lad and Topanticipation both need more.

Carlisle 4.50 Khurumbi (9/4)
Well bred filly who ran a big race when beaten less than 2 lengths at Catterick last month; looked tapped for toe at Thirsk last time so should relish this step up in trip; can keep improving so the one to beat.
We head to Carlisle on Monday for our second best bet and KHURUMBI looks a good bet to justify favouritism. She remains open to further improvement after just a handful of starts and this step up to 7f should prove ideal especially judging by the way she was outpaced last time. Her two runner-up efforts before that look very solid and I don’t think she’ll need a great deal more to get off the mark now. This is certainly winnable and she should make the most of this opportunity. The danger looks to be Ba Na Hills but I don’t think he’ll massively enjoy coming back in trip. He spurned quite a good opportunity last time so might need more if the selection steps forward again as expected.
