MY US NAP WON LAST NIGHT AND RUNS IN RACE 8 AT BELMONT PARK ON FRIDAY!

Race 8 Belmont Park 9.40 Graded On A Curve (10/11)

Won 3 of his last 4 and was back to his best when last seen showing a great attitude to run them down and prevail; won fresh 2 of the last 3 years so should be hard to beat if returning with all guns blazing; keep on side.

The US NAP was back in the winners enclosure last night and hopefully we can follow up on Friday night ahead of a big weekend. We head to Belmont Park where GRADED ON A CURVE should be up to making a winning reappearance. His form is rock solid and he capped off a decent season last year with victory at Aqueduct. He is proven at this track and has won fresh so lots to like. Ruse was progressive last season and made an encouraging enough return when runner-up to Discreet Tune at Gulfstream. If he builds on that he is definitely the main danger to the favourite. Hush Of A Storm remains unexposed and also has to be considered but will need to improve on that last run.

Race 10 Pimlico 9.07 Under The Stars (11/8)

Promising filly who has won 2 of her last 4 starts; ran below par on final start at Santa Anita and freshened up since; if she bounces back to previous form she will be extremely hard to beat as can still improve too; big chance.

Given UNDER THE STARS has won a Grade 2 in the past we know she is a cut above this level on her best form. She blew out at Santa Anita last month but given a bit of time since she can bounce back now. She has only actually had 6 starts so there should be further progress to come yet. This will be run at a good clip and she should get a lovely toe in before proving too strong. Happy Soul looks to be the obvious threat having won 3 of her first 4 starts before running flat at Keeneland at the top level last time. She was beaten 25 lengths so if you put a line through that she will get seriously competitive but a bit to prove. Lady Secret best of the rest but her winning run came to an end last time.
