Sunday’s American Horse Racing Tips
Sky Sports Racing have live coverage of US Racing tonight and I’ve covered SEVEN meetings and picked out my best bets.
MY DOUBLE IS ON A HAT-TRICK STATESIDE TONIGHT! Racing in America from Pimlico, Belmont, Gulfstream, Woodbine, Santa Anita, Golden Gate and Mountaineer. My Daily Double pays 3/1!
NAP – Best selection of the evening
MY US NAP WON AGAIN LAST NIGHT AND IS CHASING A HAT-TRICK OF WINS NOW!
Race 8 Woodbine 9.59 Handcarved (4/5)
Promising sort who left debut run well behind to win impressively on just his second start; did too much early up in grade on dirt last time; back on this surface now and hard to beat with further improvement to come.
The US NAP is back going great guns and we head to Woodbine tonight where HANDCARVED can make it 2 wins from his last 3. He is a promising horse in the making judging by his win on penultimate start and if you put a line through that latest effort at Keeneland he is likely a very warm order for this. This represents a big drop down in grade so he should find things much easier. He will go forward and they might not see which way he goes. Bound Lucky brings winning form to the table having finally got his head in front here last time. He could emerge as the danger if building on that. Chancel won on return but was held last time and has a bit to prove off the back of that now.
NB – Second best selection of the day
MY US NEXT BEST ALSO WON LAST NIGHT AND IS CHASING A HAT-TRICK TONIGHT!
Race 7 Santa Anita 12.15 Cairo Memories (5/4)
Improving filly who was back to her best kicking clear to win head in chest over C&D last month; remains open to further improvement and under likely aggressive tactics she should be hard to catch in the closing stages.
With 3 wins from 6 starts the progressive CAIRO MEMORIES can strike again at Santa Anita tonight. She is a filly improving all the time and that was pretty impressive last time. She will go forward and comfortably rates the most likely winner in this field for me. If she gets loose on the front they might not be able to lay a glove on her. Island Of Love drew clear in good style to win over a mile here last time and looks the danger with more to come. It might be a tough ask coming from behind here though. Sterling Crest has form that ties in with the latter so has ground to make up. Ballet Dancing looks to have a future after winning on just her second start last time but this requires a big step up again.
