He pulled readily clear with a fellow improver and with more to come should get his head in front off the same mark here. He will likely get a good pace to track through from May Punch and that should also suit as well. The latter is likely the biggest danger after winning over C&D last week. She carries a 5lb penalty though which won’t be easy by any means. Come On John got his head in front at Thirsk on penultimate start but didn’t really back that up when only fourth at Doncaster last time so even down in grade probably needs more. Head Chef best of the rest but has been disappointing so far.
