MY US NAP RUNS IN RACE 7 AT BELMONT PARK ON SUNDAY NIGHT!

Race 7 Belmont Park 9.08 Brattle House (5/2)

Promising filly who improved again to win head in chest here last month, really kicking away in the closing stages; open to further progression now and while this is tougher she still looks to have leading claims.

With 3 wins from just 5 starts the progressive BRATTLE HOUSE can salute the judge again. She was very much on her game last time and ended up winning by nearly 8 lengths at the line. I think she has turned a corner again and may well be a graded filly in time. I’m expecting her to bounce out smartly again here and burn them all off. Equal Pay herself was very impressive at Gulfstream over 7f on penultimate start but she was well held in second here last time and I’m not sure how much more she’ll have to come up to a mile. If she stays then she will be the danger. Wasp looked to have potential winning at Aqueduct when last seen but she might need this having been off since March.

Race 14 Gulfstream Park 11.50 Sinfulicious (3/1)

Improving filly who draw clear comfortably to open her account on turf here back in April; shaped well in defeat up in grade last time; with more to come should be hard to beat on this surface for the first time.

Quite a big field for this but I think the one with the most potential has to be SINFULICIOUS. She impressed winning on penultimate start and I can see this setting up perfectly for her run style. She will be held up off the pace and if they go hard I don’t think anything will be finishing as well. Lady Emily was down the field behind the selection last time but it is still early days for her as well so she might not be too far away again. Cindy’s Song may pose a greater threat having ran well in third when last seen. She starts out for her new trainer now and won her only start on this surface so is expected to put up the most resistance. At bigger odds Wasser might be a bit of value to hit the frame.
