MY US NAP RUNS IN RACE 7 AT FINGER LAKES ON WEDNESDAY NIGHT!
Race 7 Finger Lakes 8.52 Out Of Tune (5/4)
Useful type who has won 2 of his last 3 starts and wasn’t disgraced up in grade last time, rallying under pressure; this easier and if he gets a good pace to aim at he should be finishing best of all; worth keeping on side.
This is by no means a thrilling contest but a 5/4 shot pays the same no matter the quality of race and OUT OF TUNE should have too much for these. He went up in grade after winning twice and acquitted himself well in defeat. He will find this easier and should be hitting the line strong. Evrybodyluvsnorman was disappointing when last seen but had some good form prior to that. He hasn’t been seen for 225 days though so might need the run. If he is fit and ready to roll he is probably the most likely danger to this favourite. Mellman is better than what he showed on reappearance and with that under his belt might run better than his odds are suggesting. Not a great deal of strength in depth.

Race 2 Canterbury Park 11.40 Wildly Dramatic (7/4)
Likeable filly who returned in really good form showing a good attitude to prevail here last month; remains open to further improvement and given she’ll be fitter now she looks to have found a good chance to follow up.
Great chance for WILDLY DRAMATIC to go back-to-back here. She impressed winning on return and this is no tougher so with a similar performance I expect her to salute the judge once more. She is still just a 4yo so might be one to keep on side at this sort of level. Grand Slam Homerun had been in good form before disappointing last time. If she bounces back she might be one of the threats to the favourite. Silly Notion ran better last time and on earlier form also has to be respected. Faded Memories was third to the selection last time so has ground to make up. Just Splended up against it and even Honey Parade who is short in the betting has enough to prove on the balance of her form.
