Likeable type who shaped with promise in defeat when second on return here last month; remains unexposed stepping up in trip and likely to prove well handicapped; definitely worth siding with against these.
After such a good run for the NAP it’s been quite a tough week so we head to Newmarket on Saturday as we look to bounce back. I really like the chances of BAGUE D’OR for Chris Wall. He’s been quite patient with this horse and I thought he shaped as though he’d do better for the run when runner-up on return. He should relish this step up in trip and I think he is the most likely winner at 5/2. Reverend Hubert has won both starts since returning looking good at Chelmsford and then following up at Doncaster making all. Another 3lb rise will demand more though coming up against another improver. Saint Riquier was only beaten a head at Chester and looks to be best of the rest.

Royal Ascot 4.20 Home Affairs (5/2)
Smart Aussie colt who beat impressive King’s Stand winner and stablemate Nature Strip at Flemington in February; trainer could have run the latter in this so confidence must be high; sure to run a big race.
Australia were celebrating at Royal Ascot earlier in the week as Nature Strip put in one of the performances of the 5 days to win the King’s Stand. Chris Waller has decided to send stablemate HOME AFFAIRS for this and he could have run the latter so confidence must be high. This I Am Invincible colt actually beat Nature Strip at Flemington back in February and his subsequent effort in a handicap can be forgiven after he had no luck from an unpromising position. He will go forward and look to put in a dominant performance here and comfortably looks the most likely winner. At a bigger price HIGHFIELD PRINCESS could run a nice race having impressed at York last time.
