Race 7 Gulfstream Park 8.44 Freedom Speaks (11/10)

Promising filly who made a perfect start winning so impressively on debut here over 5f; sure to improve on that tackling dirt for the first time and looks well placed to take this step up in grade and make it 2-2 here.

The US NAP was backed off the boards before winning overnight so we’re chasing a HAT-TRICK on Saturday. We head to Gulfstream where FREEDOM SPEAKS should prove a tough nut to crack. She looks an exciting filly after bolting up by 6 lengths on debut and she is only going to improve on that. She should relish dirt and is comfortably the most likely winner in this field. Slot Queen has won both starts since finishing fourth on debut and she might be the one to emerge as the main danger. Rapturous has experience on side and has some good form in the book so also deserves another look despite being well held on turf last time. She did rally but ultimately came up too short.

Race 11 Santa Anita 2.13 Absolutely Zero (6/4)

Likeable filly who showed a nice change of gear to win on debut at this track last month; sure to come on for that initial outing and looks to be one to keep on side as she bids to make it 2-2 here; should be finishing best.

This does look quite competitive but even still I think ABSOLUTELY ZERO can remain unbeaten. She won convincingly in the end on debut showing a good change of gear to kick clear. If she improves she will likely be tough to beat. Tahoma also impressed on debut always holding on well at the line but I think he might need to improve a fair bit to cope with the selection. Still looks the one most likely to challenge her though. Midnight Lightning took a nice step forward from his debut run to win over track and trip at the start of the month and he also needs to be considered stepping up in grade. Good N Thirsty also won on debut and shouldn’t be completely overlooked either.
