Harry Angel filly who is bred to be fast and inexperience likely cost her on debut finishing a good second at Doncaster earlier this month; sure to be more streetwise now and good chance she can go one better here.
Archie Watson saddles A TASTE OF HONEY at Newbury on Tuesday and this filly by Harry Angel should prove hard to beat following an encouraging debut effort. She was beaten just a length and a half at the line and the winner Ibiza Love had it all go her own way making all the running on that occasion. She had experience on side having shaped promising on debut and she has since go on to acquit herself well in the Albany at Royal Ascot last week so the form certainly has substance. The selection will need to improve but she looked as though she would and this is a good opportunity on paper for her to go one better. The danger is Tessa who has solid form in the book. Puntarella is also noted.

Beverley 3.15 Myristica (2/1)
Harzand filly who left previous form this season behind to go down just a length to a good yardstick at Redcar at the start of the month; even better winning convincingly at Ripon last week; hard to oppose now.
I’ve always thought a fair bit of MYRISTICA but she hasn’t always done herself justice. Her first couple of starts this season certainly didn’t get anyone excited but she definitely improved to finish second at Redcar. She was beaten just a length by Strawman and that horse is a tough proven handicapper. The third Enfranchise won a good race at Pontefract yesterday so it is really strong form for the grade. She of course came out herself and won convincingly at Ripon last time and turned out quickly under a penalty here she is hard to look past. She strikes me as a filly that could be more a 90-rated horse in time so I still think she has a bit in hand off her current mark. Fairmac looks the obvious main danger.
