ANOTHER BUSY NIGHT STATESIDE! Racing in America on Tuesday from Belterra Park, Thistledown, Phily, Finger Lakes, Fort Erie, Indiana and Mountaineer Park. My Daily Double pays 11/2!

MY US NAP RUNS IN RACE 7 AT FINGER LAKES ON TUESDAY NIGHT!

Race 7 Finger Lakes 8.52 Shanty Shack (6/5)

Improving sort who needed the run on debut but stepped forward to finish second over track and trip last month; should be sharper again here and looks the most likely winner in this field; definitely worth chancing.

With further improvement likely SHANTY SHACK looks to have found a good opportunity to open his account. He stepped forward last time and with further progress on the cards can take advantage of this very winnable contest. I’m expecting him to go forward having shown bright speed last time and he might just be a cut above these. The rest all need to improve a fair bit to land a blow but perhaps Cinco Linko will be the one to chase him home. He finished third last time but was beaten 21 lengths and was weakening at the line. Goes up half a furlong in trip and will need more but the rest all look pretty limited so still might end up being the one to finish second to the favourite.

Race 5 Thistledown 7.50 Somekindafuhry (15/8)

Tough sort who is yet to run a bad race winning once and placing on the other three occasions; only denied half a length when last seen over track and trip; hard to beat if ready to go on reappearance here.

This looks a good chance for SOMEKINDAFUHRY to get himself back in the winners enclosure. He impressed winning on turf on just his second start and has run two big races on dirt as well. He missed by just half a length when last seen back in September and if fit and ready to go on return for his new yard he should take a bit of stopping here. Scorza and Dexquire could both potentially push forward and take each other on. That would be an ideal scenario as the selection will look to be closing at the finish and an end-to-end gallop would help that scenario play out. Little Big Smoke might be the danger as he has some good form in the book and ran in a decent enough race last time.
