Saturday’s American Horse Racing Tips
Sky Sports Racing have live coverage of US Racing tonight and I’ve covered FOUR meetings and picked out my best bets.
BIG NIGHT COMING UP STATESIDE! Racing in America on Saturday night from Thistledown, Gulfstream Park, Belmont Park and over at Woodbine. My Daily Double pays 4/1!
NAP – Best selection of the evening
MY US NAP RUNS IN RACE 8 AT BELMONT PARK ON SATURDAY NIGHT!
Race 8 Belmont Park 9.40 Juju’s Map (1/1)
Exciting filly who won 2 of her 4 starts as a 2yo and made a perfect return winning impressively at Churchill Downs last month; sure to improve from that and likely very hard to beat; one to keep firmly on side.
We focus on the feature race of the night at Belmont Park for our best bet Stateside and JUJU’S MAP can win again. She really impressed on return hitting the line strong over this trip and while this is a step up in grade she won at the top level as a 2yo and obviously has potential to reach those heights again this season. There is no obvious speed in here so she might go forward and could always be doing best. Shahama is probably the danger having won her first four starts in Dubai. She was given a mountain to climb on debut Stateside at Churchill Downs but did make some belated headway. If she strips fitter from that now she could be the one to chase home the favourite.
NB – Second best selection of the day
MY US NEXT BEST WON AT 11/4 LAST NIGHT AND RUNS AT WOODBINE TONIGHT!
Race 6 Woodbine 8.56 Ima Daredevil (2/1)
Promising mare who capped off last season with a smart win on turf here; nowhere near her best on return over the extended 6f here but likely to strip a lot fitter now so happy to put a line through that; will go close.
I’m confident IMA DAREDEVIL will take the beating at Woodbine tonight. She needed the run on return at the start of the month and she will strip a lot fitter now. She can reverse that form with D’s Soul and Onezy’s Dream. She is still unexposed and has potential to rate a fair bit higher yet. D’s Soul is the likely danger as she is clearly running well. She is a 7yo now though so unlikely to improve further. Cefalo was behind Valley Girl last time but is also running well enough to have a say. The latter has been well held since that decent run so has enough to prove on the balance of her form now. This should be run at a good clip which will help give the selection a nice toe in which is another big plus.
