Wednesday’s American Horse Racing Tips
Sky Sports Racing have live coverage of US Racing tonight and I’ve covered all NINE meetings and picked out my best bets.
US NAP NOW ON A FOUR-TIMER TONIGHT! Racing on Wednesday in America from Delaware Park, Thistledown, Philadelphia, Finger Lakes, Indiana and much more. My Daily Double pays 10/3!
NAP – Best selection of the evening
MY US NAP WON AGAIN LAST NIGHT AND IS EYEING UP A FOUR-TIMER NOW!
Race 6 Finger Lakes 8.25 Rotknee (4/5)
Progressive colt who has won 4 of his 6 starts to date and was back to his best winning convincingly at Belmont last month; can continue to improve so looks the one they all have to beat here; this looks an easier race.
The US NAP won again last night albeit at cramped odds so we’re chasing FOUR IN A ROW this evening. We head to Finger Lakes where the progressive ROTKNEE can salute the judge once more. He is flying with 4 wins from 6 starts and with scope for further improvement he should take care of this field. This is easier than that last race so I’ll be surprised if he doesn’t justify favouritism. My Last Mission won nicely on penultimate start but did blow out last time and is going to need to better that to upset this favourite. Gimmedamoney has a similar profile to the latter having won easily on penultimate start but let backers down last time and has enough to prove on the balance now.
NB – Second best selection of the day
MY US NEXT BEST RUNS IN RACE 6 AT DELAWARE PARK ON WEDNESDAY NIGHT!
Race 6 Delaware Park 8.00 Witty (11/8)
Won 3 from 4 as a 2yo last season and looked to need the outing when blowing out on turf debut last time; can put a line through that and back on dirt with fitness on side should take a lot of beating here; keep on side.
With just the 3 rivals to beat now I’ll be surprised if WITTY doesn’t return to the winners enclosure. He landed a hat-trick of wins impressively back in January and would have needed the run on return in a Grade 2 last time. These are obviously much calmer waters and back on dirt he should resume his progress. My only worry is the price as with the two non runners now he is likely to go off very short. The danger is No Sabe Nada who improved to win by a head last time and if building on that again will give the selection most to think about. Crabs N Beer has also been running well enough to have a say as that didn’t look a bad race at Pimlico last time. This definitely requires more again though.
