MY US NAP RUNS IN RACE 6 AT WOODBINE ON FRIDAY NIGHT!
Race 6 Woodbine 8.44 Artie’s Storm (2/1)
Improved with every run recently bringing up the hat-trick here in a Grade 2 when last seen; will strip fitter from that and can still progress further so gets a confident vote to salute the judge again; one to keep on side.
We head to Woodbine on Friday night for our best bet Stateside and ARTIE’S STORM can win again. He really impressed on return winning a Grade 2 and given this is easier he should prove a tough nut to crack. Mighty Heart is a threat but he will likely get taken on from Primo Touch who is fast and the pair could set it up for the selection. If that happens then Frosted Over is the likely danger again. He finished second to the selection last time and also looks to be heading in the right direction. Of the rest Skywire won convincingly here last time but this is definitely a step up. War Bomber was behind Frosted Over when last seen but needs to bounce back on return to have any sort of a say in the outcome.

Race 7 Belmont Park 9.08 Saint Selby (2/1)
Likeable type who made it 3 wins from just 5 starts getting on top in good style over 6f here last month; can keep improving with experience and while this is tougher he is definitely worth chancing on what we’ve seen.
I’m looking forward to seeing SAINT SELBY out again at Belmont tonight as he is definitely heading in the right direction after that latest victory. He was firmly on top in the closing stages and is still open to further improvement after just the 5 starts. He likes to lead so should push forward and try and burn these off. Capone is unexposed and rates the main threat. He won well last time and has a similar profile to the selection so I expect the pair to fight this one out. Don’t Wait Up is likely better than what he has been able to show so far this season and will appreciate dropping down in grade here. Still has potential so should rate comfortably best of the rest if rediscovering some form.
