Thursday’s American Horse Racing Tips
Sky Sports Racing have live coverage of US Racing tonight and I’ve covered FIVE meetings and picked out my best bets.
US NAP CHASING A FIVE-TIMER! Both the Daily Double and Notebook Double landed yesterday. Racing in America tonight from Tampa, Gulfstream, Indiana and more. My Daily Double pays 6/1!
NAP – Best selection of the evening
MY US NAP WON AGAIN LAST NIGHT AND IS CHASING A FIVE-TIMER NOW!
Race 7 Belmont Park 11.15 Prince Discipline (4/5)
Exciting colt who couldn’t have won any more impressively on debut over a mile here last month; could see he was learning on the job but still much the best; shouldn’t be too hard pressed here to make it a perfect 2-2.
The US NAP continues to fire in the winners as we look to make it FIVE STRAIGHT tonight. The price completely went again last night but it can happen when the race cuts up. Hopefully it holds up a bit more tonight as I’m looking forward to seeing PRINCE DISCIPLINE out again. He fairly routed them on debut and with the promise of more to come he should be able to remain unbeaten here before moving up in grade. Colloquy has improved with every run and was rewarded over track and trip last time. If he steps forward again he is the one most likely to chase this hot-pot home. Montebello also deserves a mention as he should strip fitter from that reappearance run last month.
NB – Second best selection of the day
MY US NEXT BEST WON LAST NIGHT AND RUNS AT GULFSTREAM PARK TONIGHT!
Race 7 Gulfstream Park 8.44 Jeopardy James (3/1)
Took a big step forward to win so impressively by 9 lengths over this trip at Tampa last time; given time to improve again since and looks well placed to follow up; should get a good pace to run down so obvious claims.
I’m surprised JEOPARDY JAMES is as big as 3/1 at the time of writing as he really impressed last time and this isn’t a great deal tougher. Both Old Time Revival and Schochoh will push forward and make this a good test and that could prove ideal. Rough Entry needs to better what he has been doing lately but these are at least calmer waters so it wouldn’t be a huge surprise to see him emerge as the main danger. Speargun dead-heated last time and if building on that might not be too far away again. Of the rest Joe Di Baggio was behind Old Time Revival last time but he is probably better than that and might be capable of reversing that form especially if the latter goes off too hard.
