Monday’s Horse Racing Tips
It may have been a quiet Sunday but I still managed to land another Daily Double. There are 4 meetings on Monday at Ayr, Ripon, Worcester and Roscommon with our Double paying 6/1!
NAP – Best selection of the evening
Roscommon 8:00 Alfeiri
We go to Roscommon for the NAP on Monday and ALFIERI looks rock solid after a win last Thursday and I am not surprised to see him out again so soon as he only has a 7lb penalty currently. You would imagine he will get a lot more than that when the handicapper re-assesses him this week after running out a 13 length winners at Tipperary. He clearly has more scope at this trip and if none the worse for the recent run he will win this.
Miss Us O also won over this trip on her last run and will be a big danger but doesn’t look as unexposed as the selection. There isn’t too much depth in the field with the only other one I think could get involved could be Brandy Harbour up at this trip.

Ayr 2:25 Polam Lane (2/1)
Not the strongest of races and POLAM LANE looks to have a good opportunity to back up his win at Carlisle last month. He had been going down the handicap before putting forward one of his best runs for a while last time out. The key to him could well be the fast ground which he had last time and has here at Ayr. If in the same form her will defy a 4lb penalty and go very close.
The main danger looks to be Brazen Belle who also won last time out but that was over 5 furlongs which I think sees her to better effect and has to step-up to beat the selection.
