MY US NAP RUNS IN RACE 5 AT FORT ERIE ON MONDAY NIGHT!

Race 5 Fort Erie 7.57 Dance To The Beach (11/10)

Promising filly who made a really bright start bolting up by 5 lengths on debut and only going to improve from that; likely ridden patiently again and will be looking to pick them all up in the closing stages.

I’m definitely keen to keep the unbeaten DANCE TO THE BEACH on side at Fort Erie tonight. She won head in chest on debut having been ridden quietly early and is only going to improve from that initial effort. Natasha’s Bizniz had no answers last time and she will likely go forward again so might finish second once more. Dazzling Diva won impressively last time but has to prove that on dirt. Grazarion was behind the top 2 in the betting and will definitely need more to close that gap. Doodle Dandy is the outsider of the field and she looks pretty exposed compared so some of those shorter in the betting. If the favourite steps forward they will all be playing catch up that’s for sure.

Race 8 Belmont Park 9.40 Precursory (11/8)

Improving filly who definitely looked to need the experience when fourth on debut but improved a fair bit from that to finish third last time having travelled well; fitter again and more to come so strong chance.

With more to come PRECURSORY gets a confident vote to make the breakthrough now. She moved like a good filly last time and with that experience under her belt and added fitness she should put these to the sword. Quotabelle likes to go forward so this shouldn’t turn tactical which is a big positive. The danger is likely Demandsrespect who ran well when second last time albeit beaten 6 lengths but she will improve on what is just her fourth start here. Don’t Overlook Me was behind the latter on debut but again is open to further improvement so she might not be too far away either. Hop Picker has form that ties in with Dolce Sera but I guess she’ll be hopeful oft reversing that tonight.
