NAP – Best selection of the evening
Leicester 3.40 Fresh Hope (5/4)
New Approach filly who improved to win at Doncaster back in May and then acquitted herself really well in defeat in the Sandringham, drawn on the wrong side; off the same mark here and definitely still improving.
The NAP landed again yesterday and the double was banked as well so I’m on a HAT-TRICK on Thursday. I’ve decided to put up FRESH HOPE for Charlie Fellowes. Now I thought this filly ran huge in defeat in the Sandringham and if she was drawn where the action materialised she may well have gone close. It was still a decent effort in defeat and she is definitely still improving so off the same mark I expect her to take a lot of beating. She was 5/4 when my reel went live on Instagram and I was uncertain as to what the market would do. She has been heavily supported even at the time of writing which is a good sign. Devasboy is the one most likely to follow her home.

Hamilton 3.20 Graces Quest (11/4)
Telescope filly who has looked progressive recently winning 2 of her last 4 starts; always getting there last time and did it with a bit to spare; this track will suit and I can see this being run to suit as well; obvious chance.
Jim Goldie holds the key here with the top 2 in the betting but ready preference is for the biggest price of the pair in GRACES QUEST. She really impressed last time and I’ve had her on my radar for a while to be honest. This track will prove ideal and I think she can get the better of her more fancied stablemate Wickywickywheels. I still think the latter has a lot of potential too but she only prevailed by a neck last time and may struggle to live with the selection in the closing stages as she has a decent change of gear under pressure. Red Bond is next in the betting and he has to be respected as well dropping down the weights. He is on a long losing run though which is definitely offputting.
