Catterick 4.15 Heat And Dust (11/8)
Big filly who has clearly taken time to come to hand; improved a chunk to win impressively at Brighton last week and should be tough to beat turned out quickly under a penalty; could easily rack up a sequence.
The way HEAT AND DUST won at Brighton last week was so impressive and given the second Sisterandbrother had good form going into that it made it all the more promising. She is a big filly who has clearly taken time to fill her frame and I loved the way she galloped out strongly to win easily. She carries a 5lb penalty but that won’t stop her now she knows how to win and given the yard it wouldn’t be surprising to see her go on to rack up a sequence now as she is clearly well ahead of her mark. Haven Lady won over C&D earlier in the season and was denied a run at Beverley last time so she looks the main danger on form. Dandy’s Angel is back up in trip and also deserves a mention.

Lingfield 3.20 Ischia (2/1)
Promising filly who looked clueless in a couple of starts as a 2yo but improved plenty to go down just a short head on return at Windsor last month; the winner has followed up since so the form has a strong look to it.
I’m keen to side with the potential of ISCHIA here for James Fanshawe. This Equiano filly left her 2yo form miles behind to go down by the narrowest of margins at Windsor on return and given the winner Love Trophy Power has won convincingly again since the form has plenty of substance. She goes handicapping off an opening mark of just 70 and should prove that to be lenient. Al Kazeem filly Alcazan has won over this C&D in the past but she doesn’t look to have a great deal if any in hand off her current mark. That may leave Our Louise as the danger but she is yet to win a race which has to be concerning. Mumcat was last at Brighton but if bouncing back might have a squeak but enough to prove.
