MY US NAP WON LAST NIGHT AND RUNS IN RACE 8 AT BELTERRA PARK!

Race 8 Belterra Park 7.58 Time Leverage (11/10)

Promising colt who needed his first outing but improved as a 3yo to go close at Churchill Downs and then make the breakthrough when last seen over a year ago; given time since and capable of defying an absence.

The US NAP won at a nice price last night so hopefully we can follow up tonight. We head to Belterra Park where TIME LEVERAGE looks a colt to keep on side. He won despite looking a bit tired in the closing stages in a $100K event when last seen. Given plenty of time to develop since he makes his reappearance in much calmer waters and his class should shine through. Lofty Adjudicator impressed on penultimate start but was poor last time. If he bounces back he could give the selection most to think about but enough to prove on the balance. Eyes Of Glory also blew out last time but won nicely before that so is another one who could run well if bouncing back but fav definitely the one to beat.

Race 7 Thistledown 8.50 Christmas (11/10)

Likeable filly who improved again to win here back in May; excuses when second next time and then got caught a bit wide last time; better than that and if showing her best should have too much for this field.

I’m confident CHRISTMAS can reverse that recent form with Cacki. She just got caught wide and it also came quite quickly after her run before that. She has been given a month since and with further improvement to come could progress enough to win this. Cacki is the likely danger but she is more exposed than the selection so it’s quite a big ask. One Glamorous Gal had been running well before finishing seventh last time but she was only actually beaten a length and a half so she might be the other one to get involved. Rollin All The Way returns but needs to rediscover her best form to have any sort of a say in the finish here. Hard to see many of the others landing a blow.
