Ayr 3.55 Yaaser (4/1)
Likeable type who missed by just a nose up to a mile here last week, in front a yard after the line; runs off the same mark back down to a Class 6 and looks great value to win this off top weight; worth keeping on side.
I thought we was really unlucky with YAASER last week. He was in front a yard before and a yard after the line but not where it mattered sadly. He has clearly come on again up to a mile and on breeding he should relish it. I know he looked like he had a bit to prove before that last run but that definitely settles that theory. He is off the same mark here and down in grade so I think 4/1 looks a cracking play to defy top-weight. Mulrennan is riding well with a near 16% strike rate in the past fortnight and I can’t see how this doesn’t go close. Lilikoi won at Haydock 10 days ago and looks the danger but that was an apprentice race and this looks more competitive for sure.

Ffos Las 8.30 Atomise (7/4)
Promising filly who opened her account on final start as a 2yo at Leicester; shaped with potential 3 starts so far this term nearest finish at Yarmouth last time; more to come for sure and Harry Davies claims 5lb.
Hard to ignore the claims of ATOMISE at Ffos Las tonight. This filly was very much back to form when third at Yarmouth when last seen and I’m confident the best is yet to come with her. She ran on well the last day and was only really getting going at the line. Racing off the same mark in what looks a winnable race I think she can make the most of this opportunity. Harry Davies claims 5lb which could make all the difference. Hurricane Helen was installed as favourite for this last night but has been a notable negative in the betting. She has own 2 of her last 3 but is up another 6lb and might just be bumping into an improver here. Lady Madonna best of the rest but she needs to improve a fair bit.
