MY US NAP WON AGAIN LAST NIGHT AND IS CHASING A FOUR-TIMER ON SUNDAY!

Race 7 Woodbine 9.19 The Minkster (2/1)

Promising colt who showed a great attitude to make a winning return and go a perfect 3-3; this tougher again but clearly possesses plenty of ability and sure to keep improving as he gains more experience.

I’m looking forward to seeing the progressive THE MINKSTER out again at Woodbine tonight. This colt is 3-3 now and knuckled down bravely to defy a 225 day absence on return last month. He looks destined for graded company in time and should have too much for this field. This is a step up on that reappearance run but he is already proven at a better level than this so with added fitness on side and scope for further progress should be the answer here. Causin’ Mayhem was beaten just a neck on debut before improving to win at Belmont. He needs to prove himself on this surface and he steps up in grade now but still looks the biggest threat to the favourite.

Race 6 Saratoga 8.55 Key Of Life (3/1)

Good looking filly who was slow into stride on debut but very much caught the eye staying on well to finish third; sure to know more with that initial effort under her belt and good opportunity here.

The future looks bright for KEY OF LIFE and I think we’ll see a much more polished display at Saratoga tonight. She was slow into stride and in all honesty looked a little clueless on debut. She did well to finish third and is clearly a filly with a fair bit of potential going forward. Main market rivals Rarify, Kaling and Randomized all make their debuts but they are likely all up against it given the selection has that vital experience on side. Unless one of them is pretty smart I think she’ll win this and win it well. Of the debutants on paper Kaling is probably the most interesting so I’ll be watching the market on that one. Of the rest Watch This Munny has ground to make up with the selection.
