NAP – My best tip of the day
Glorious Goodwood 2.25 Holloway Boy (2/1)
Promising colt who was learning on the job to win the Chesham on debut at Royal Ascot last month, going away at the finish; looks sure to improve from that initial effort and undoubtedly tons of potential going forward.
The way HOLLOWAY BOY lengthened in the closing stages to win the Chesham was mightily impressive and given a debutant hasn’t won at Royal Ascot since 1996 that tells you a fair bit about how big a performance it was. He was very raw in the first half of the race and overcame inexperience to quicken away from them late. The form has taken a couple of knocks since but he looked in a different league to them in truth and with natural improvement looks to have a great chance to make it a perfect 2-2. He is a big horse who should have plenty of improvement to come. Mysterious Night won convincingly at Newbury before finishing third behind Persian Force and is the danger.

Glorious Goodwood 5.20 Crystal Caprice (11/4)
Frankel filly who left previous form miles behind to win head in chest at Yarmouth 3 weeks ago; should continue to do better as she gains experience and likely off a lenient mark now handicapping from a good draw.
When you see a filly win as easily as CRYSTAL CAPRICE did from this yard they become of serious interest. She still looked quite raw at Yarmouth but kept galloping forward and poured it on in the closing stages. She is sure to keep improving with experience and an opening mark of just 87 could prove seriously lenient in time. Breaking Light impressed winning at Haydock on return following a wind op and could be the one to give her most to think about under Hollie Doyle. System only went down a neck to Random Harvest at Ascot last time and might have more to offer over a mile so could be a bit of value to run into a place at a bigger price. Wilderness Girl could go well but she has an awful draw.
