NAP – My best tip of the day
Carlisle 7.45 Liberation Point (2/1)
Made all and showed gears to win easily at Chester last month; too keen and then outpaced when second at Chelmsford; excellent second at Sandown in what looked a decent race; good chance off same mark.
This looks a great opportunity for LIBERATION POINT to get himself back in the winners enclosure. He remains quite lightly raced for his age and judging by that close second at Sandown still looks to be improving. That was a big run and off an unchanged mark here looks to have obvious claims of going one better. Detective is a four-time course winner and he missed by just a short head last time so has to be feared most in opposition. Dandy Maestro wasn’t disgraced at Newbury and will likely find this a bit easier so also has to enter calculations. Crown Princess best of the rest but along with Bowland Park they will need to find more to land a blow at the business end here.

Windsor 7.00 Lebsayer (9/4)
Promising colt who shaped with potential on debut and then improved to finish second at Chepstow; awkward start and then got caught wide at Doncaster; step up in trip a plus and should improve on handicap debut.
I thought LEBSAYER did some good late work at Doncaster and given that race has worked out well since I think his opening mark could prove lenient for handicap debut. He will enjoy going up in trip and this stiff finish should also play to his strengths. Elena’s Gift is tough and deserved to win last time but she is up 3lb and lacks the potential of the selection to some extent. Yarralumla drops back in trip which should help her and she is not entirely discounted but likely needs more to win this. Fearless Bay clocked a career best at Wolverhampton last time but his best form is on the AW so he needs to prove he can reproduce that on turf here. Looe Beach also has a squeak but this is tough enough.
