NAP – My best tip of the day
Windsor 4.40 Savrola (11/8)
Promising type who improved to make a winning handicap debut at Haydock last month, showing a good attitude to get on top late; only up 2lb and remains unexposed so this looks a good chance for him to follow up.
The NAP was back in the winners enclosure yesterday as Amanzoe ran out a good winner at Ascot. Hopefully I can bank another winner on Sunday as I head to Windsor for my best bet. SAVROLA may have only prevailed by a nose at Haydock but that was a nice performance and up just 2lb he looks the one to beat in here. He is obviously unexposed after just 4 starts and if he improves again will likely prove hard to beat. Last time out winner Asdaa looks the main danger as he is only up 3lb and remains well treated on last year’s form. Grey Fox also deserves a mention as he won over this C&D 3 starts back. He ran poor at Ascot though so has enough to prove coming into this.

Haydock 6.45 Run For Oscar (7/4)
Likeable type who won twice over hurdles last year and left his reappearance run behind staying on well for third at the Curragh last time; no surprise to see him prove he is well handicapped off this mark so should go close.
The money is coming for Charles Byrnes RUN FOR OSCAR and when one is backed from his yard it is often worth siting up and taking notice. This horse ran a cracker when third at the Curragh when last seen in June and if he improves from that here he could find himself back in the winners enclosure. He was given a lot to do the last day and kept on really well in the closing stages. I think as long as this doesn’t turn tactical he should have a great chance. Arctic Fox is chasing a hat-trick so looks the danger but this is definitely tougher than what she has been facing recently and she is up a further 6lb. The Predictor ran well when second to Mostly Cloudy at Doncaster so also has a chance.
