Chelmsford 3.10 Tippy Toes (6/4)
Havana Gold filly who has recorded all 3 of her wins over this C&D; bounced back from her Sandown flop when only beaten 2 lengths behind Ebro River in Listed company at Chester; this easier and might always be dictating.
Unbeaten over C&D it is difficult to oppose TIPPY TOES at Chelmsford on Sunday. She is back into handicap company following a big run at Chester behind Ebro River. That was a good race and she was only really headed in the closing stages. She will push forward here and might always be doing enough at a track she clearly thrives at. Lovely Breeze didn’t shape badly at all in a good race at Goodwood last month and if she builds on that she will be the main danger to the selection. True Jem impressed at Haydock but failed to back that up at Ffos Las and that leaves a little to be desired so she’ll need to bounce back to have a chance of overhauling the selection.

Pontefract 3.00 Gale Force Maya (15/8)
Tough and likeable mare who was back in the winners enclosure again at York last month to make it 2 from her last 3; her form is by far the best on offer and if she handles the wide draw she will prove tough to beat for sure.
Despite the wide draw I can’t get away from GALE FORCE MAYA who is having a great season. She has won 3 times this year and was better than ever at York last time. She is fully effective over C&D having won here last year and she looks to have plenty going for her again. Chil Chil hasn’t fired this season but we know she is plenty talented so if she bounces back she looks the danger as the betting is suggesting. Adaay In Asia is flying having won her last 3 now but this is another step up and I just think if it turns into a battle late I would rather have the selection on side. Princess Shadnam is likeable and continues to impress so I don’t think she’ll be far away either in what looks a good race.
