NAP – Best selection of the evening
MY US NAP WON LAST NIGHT AND RUNS IN RACE 6 AT SARATOGA ON THURSDAY!
Race 6 Saratoga 8.55 Rocky Sky (2/1)
Promising filly who has been highly tried since coming Stateside but very much caught the eye beaten just a length at this level last time having been given a lot to do; good chance she is coming to the boil now.
The US NAP won last night but annoyingly the price completely collapsed. Hopefully that won’t be the case this evening as ROCKY SKY is around 2/1 at the time of writing. This filly has come over from Ireland and has caught the eye a couple of times. She went down just a length having swooped from well off the speed and looks well placed to go one better now. She remains open to further improvement and looks the one to beat. Beside Herself won 3 starts back and ran on well last time but could only finish fourth. If she progresses she might be the main danger but enough to find in my book. Light Stars should do better with that last run under her belt and she is also noted.

Race 6 Woodbine 12.23 Icing (2/1)
Likeable type who improved to open his account on penultimate start and race probably came too soon last time; can improve again and no surprise to see him bounce back here and resume his progress; worth chancing.
The lightly raced ICING looks the one to side with at Woodbine tonight. He is going the right way even with that below par run last time. He had excuses and if this pans out more favourably I expect him to be hard to beat here. Al Heybay was only beaten 2 lengths last time but was behind Passthepuddinpleaz so has ground to make up to try and reverse that form. Rapid Reload is lightly raced and only went down a length over C&D last time so is another one that should be in the mix on recent form. Liars Club ran well on turf last time and if he can back that up back on turf he might fare best of the rest but enough to find to try and overturn the favourite who looks very solid.
