MY US NAP RUNS IN RACE 9 AT SARATOGA ON FRIDAY NIGHT!
Race 9 Saratoga 10.39 Key Point (11/10)
Promising colt who is arguably unlucky not to be unbeaten; won 2 of his 3 starts and was only denied a nose when he lost; impressive last time and capable of better again so very much one to keep firmly on side.
I’m looking forward to seeing KEY POINT at Saratoga tonight. He is a colt going places having won impressively when last seen. Freshened up since he remains open to further improvement and should have too much for these rivals. Who Hoo Thats Me won nicely last time but this is definitely a tougher race and he has been found out a similar level before. Still think he’ll run well but might not have what it takes to trouble the selection. Anejo was beaten narrowly last time having tried to swoop from off the pace and is also worthy of consideration. Excellent Timing remains unexposed but would need to improve a fair bit for his new yard back from a break to spring an upset in this.

Race 5 Gulfstream Park 10.12 Mailbox Money (7/4)
Progressive type having brought up the hat-trick in good style over track and trip last month; only had a handful of starts so further improvement on the cards; good chance to go in again back up in grade.
The four-timer looks to be on the cards for the likeable MAILBOX MONEY at Gulfstream tonight. He drew off convincingly again last time and is clearly a horse on an upward trajectory right now. He goes back up in grade but this still looks winnable to me and I think he’ll go close. Quite Ready is on a hat-trick himself and looks the danger. Neophyte won impressively on penultimate start but failed to back that up on dirt last time and finished a tired horse. A bit to prove off the back of that but if bouncing back should be hitting the frame. I’ll Figure It Out was behind Full Disclosure so has ground to make up but his penultimate run was quite good so another one with a squeak if bouncing back.
